Now lets face it.  If we are going to work hard on our affiliate business, what we want even more is to build a long term affiliate business.  Quick cash is great and you really can make some quick cash with some methods, but building a long term business will take a little more effort, HOWEVER it will pay off a lot more!

You see, when I started I thought if I just drove traffic to one page, I will make all the money in the world.  So later on I was told drive traffic to multiple pages and multiple niche markets, so I did that.  Further more, 6 months into it, I had so many “landing pages” and sales but I felt I was getting lost in it all.  I bet many of you felt the same.

Now, it took me a little while to understand how to make it all go on autopilot.  A did create many affiliate campaigns, and the thing is they would have been more profitable if I really did use the autopilot business.  But the bottom line is, you have to build that list of subscribers.

Difference between driving traffic to landing page, or driving traffic to the squeeze page is simple.  The squeeze page will make the visitor A subscribe and see at least 2-3 more of your offers, while with straight landing page such as sales page, visitor A comes and goes, and now you have to get visitor B, and will repeat itself again.

If you have been following my 7 step affiliate plan, or if you just looked at the free niche research tutorial, you will know that you need your squeeze page to convert high, in order for your campaign to be profitable!  So here are some tips!

First of, your headline needs to tell them it is proven, it is easy and they can really do it in short time.  It has to deliver on the promise made! It has to stand out, but it CANNOT be a lie!

Second, always make your opt in above the fold and keep it in the right hand corner. (when looking at the screen of course)

Third, make your graphics appeal the the audiance. So if it is a weight loss niche, you need to associate it with weight loss such as before and after pictures.

Fourth, make your bullet points help them understand the benefits of joing your mailing list! Explain anywhere from 5-9 bullet points!

But most important step when building your list is to actually give them what they asked for.  So if they wanted a free weight loss plan, that is exactly what you need to give them.  And make sure the system works.

Sounds simple?  I cannot tell you how many time I’ve been asked this question, and yes, it sounds simple, and is simple, but people still manage to get low squeeze page conversions, because they don’t follow this simple plan.

And you know, you should always test your squeeze page conversions, because some might convert low, but by testing few different once, you will get higher conversions for sure!

I am going to share with you two ways to get more traffic to your site. Free - or at slight cost! But the good news is, for free strategy, you do not have to create many articles.  One will do just fine!

First we go with FREE! It is the forum marketing but with a twist!

O.k. most people think that forum marketing is about posting as many posts that are no quality posts around the forum so your get more signature exposure!

But you can do something a little different - work less but smarter

Write one post - NEW tread! With catchy title! You can use the twitter keys - here is the link - http://thenextweb.com/TwitterKeys/keys.php - example used in this tread!

The new tread has to be of great value. For example: few months back I read one on the tutorial how to sign up for CPA network. I had many problems with signing up until I’ve read that tread. That is how valuable the tread has to be!

Here are the results: This has done two things for the person who posted the tread! First he got excellent reputation! He had over 10,000 views on his tread. Over 172 comments! It is now a sticky tread! And it is a 5 star tread!

You see, it is a cost of spending couple of hours writing a really good valuable article! And getting 10,000 visitors or more! This was done in Internet Marketing Niche, but the value will work in any niche. How about weight loss? “7 Day Plan - FULL Body Workout” or something like that!

That is for the free method!

The paid method and we are going to use an example to promote some affiliate products.

This will not work in any forum because not every forum has this option. For example in Warrior Forum there are 2 paid section. One is WSO and Classified Ad! Each cost $20 per tread. Many people visit the WSO - stands for Warrior Special Offer!

Warrior special offer has to be used for something you have created yourself. It can be offered for free offer to build your list, or if paid offer,  at lower price than the regular sales price you have on the product. Let’s say, you have a free course on getting article ranked on the 1st page of Google in 5 Days or Less! Give it away for free. And you will get sign ups - later on you can promote something relevant such as automatic article submitter.  Tool to get backlinks etc.

THE PROBLEM! Sorry, I have to say. WSO is great, it will bring you many visitors, but it does not last forever! Once your page drops of the 1st page your traffic will stop. You cannot bump again, until your page drops of the 3rd page, and when you do bump your tread, you have to pay $20 again!

That is why I like Classified Ads better. I use both, but prefer classified ads. Because in classified ads, your tread stays longer on the first page. And I have less cost, more subscribers or sales. Oh and in the classified ads, it does not have to be your own product, it can be any product.  But of course, the higher conversion is if the product is cheaper/offered at discount!

I think the WSO, and the WCF should be used for list building.  Because if you are paying for traffic, you might as well capture the lead.

Here are few methods you can use to create a tutorial for free! It is so simple anyone can do it!

First there are merchants who post their articles on ezinearticles.com, or they have their articles available for your own promotion on their site. Ask them if it is o.k. to use those articles to create a mini course. You can do this with 2-3 merchants linking to each merchant separately. Of course have your affiliate code in there! And the approval from any merchant!

For example:

First part can be:
• 10 Simple diet changes to drop pounds!
• Second can be while dropping pounds 10 exercises to do in your spare time to shape up stomach, butt and thighs!
• Third part can be keeping the weight off!

Here is another way you can create tutorial for free! Very simple actually! Just find an expert in the field and interview them. Learn exactly what needs to be done to get the desired results!

Third way, even if you do know something about the “issue” but want to create a really powerful tutorial, go over to any niche forum, and post a question in there asking what to do, and how to do it! Make the title attractive, and get the experts to respond, but don’t stop there, go and look at past treads and see what they said.

I know this guide is short, but hopefully very helpful on how to create tutorial for free. Don’t give it away without getting a subscriber of course! The reality is, unless you have a pocket full of money, you have to learn how to write articles. Keep in mind, it is not hard and article marketing is great and a good way to get traffic. So here is one article writing strategy that is so easy and most people miss it!

Do you visit forums often? Most people get stuck in forums for 2-3 hours per day, because they are responding to user questions. So now you are building content for other websites.

Well why don’t you use the forums to inspire you to write?

Here is what to do.

Go to any forum you are a member of in your niche and scan the posts. Click on any one that has an interesting title as well as the question you want to respond to. Now you can either bookmark the text OR copy and paste to a word document…

Now go paste it on another site! Just Kidding! Use that information to put together your article. Make sure you really picture that person when writing that article. Give some very helpful advice. Be detailed and talk to them like they are a friend of yours!

Now make sure you have 10 of those interesting posts at least. And you will have 10 articles written in no time!

Find your self struggling to get your affiliate marketing campaign going? Kind of don’t know how to get it set up? Here is the best way to promote affiliate marketing products, and all you really need is a very simple action plan and I am about to give it to you!

Let’s say you want to promote a make money with affiliate program. This is kind of a popular niche for many affiliates I guess because we are into it, and we want to be part of it. The very first steps you have to do is understand who your audience is going to be.

WHO - Newbies to affiliate marketing
What - Want to Learn how to earn money from home
Why - So they can earn extra cash or quit their day job!

Now, you do have few choices here. You can directly promote that product, meaning you link to a review site of that product OR… Your better choice is to get a simple PLR (private label rights guide) and offer it as a bonus to get sign ups. Now this guide has to solve that problem so it cannot be something CHEAP! This guide has to help them earn a little money online, just enough so they can be thankful to you. (This is a way for you to capture the lead) Or you can send them directly to that review page.

The way you drive traffic is to send article traffic, to that one page. Which is either opt in (squeeze page) or the landing page!

You now can write 100’s or articles to point to your one page. Or you can split the traffic and send some to the review site and send some to the opt in. I am just coming back from Wealthy affiliate forum, and have realized that many people really cannot understand the importance of selecting the niche market, and NO I do NOT mean the weight loss industry, or wedding industry!  I mean the actual niche market of people with an issue.  So before we get to that, let me explain why it is so important to know who the people are!

Now, let me give you few examples of people with an issue:

Ex smoker with Yellow Teeth

Pregnant women with backpain

Losing weight after pregnancy

Cat with Bad Breath

Do you see, how for each one of these you can know WHO the person is?

What does the pregnant women want to do when she has the backpain?  She wants a relief ASAP and will pay for it.

But let’s say you know exactly who they are, and can help them for free!  They are going to love you and trust you now!  If you do recommend a solution to a totally different problem, they will most likely jump on it.

That is the importance of the list building!

BUT…IF you are NOT building a list. Let’s say you sell the pregnant women the product without a list…YOU can just wave a good buy!  They will most likely NEVER ever come back to your site again!

But if you originally help them for FREE!  They will most likely come back to you over and over again!

A pregnant women who suffered from terrible back pain, will most likely want to lose extra weight or get back in shape physical!  Do you see how important it is to be able to contact that person?

I have a funny story to share. It is kind of related to affiliate marketing, but not exactly, BUT really a good message I promise. After you read this story, I hope you will learn a very unique headline generator tactic that you are going to LOVE!

O.k. I really, really HATE to cook! I will do it, I make something for lunch or dinner every day. BUT I don’t like it! I wish I had a personal cook, well maybe I will one day ha ha…

Anyways, my whole family knows how I really don’t like to do it. I get teased all the time because of it. And some of them think I am lazy. GOD knows I am not! I will do everything else, BUT cooking in my opinion is waste of time. You work so hard on making something really good, and than bam. They ate it in under 10 minutes.

So anyways, last few months I’ve been lucky. I was over at my sister’s house and she did most of the cooking. Yeah…I was so happy…So now I have to cook again, NOT HAPPY, but what you have to do, you just have to.

Anyways, my kids, THANKS GOD, love to eat Pasta. Pasta with this, pasta with that…That is the easiest for me to make so I am grateful.

Now my mom called me one day and of course, the teasing started as soon as I said I was making dinner. Oh, wow Ivana, what are you making?

I was just about to say Pasta, when I realized that I would get teased even more. So instead I said, Delicious Chicken in Béchamel Mushroom Sauce Over the Fully Cooked Fettuccini. I know, your mouth is watering right now…(sorry we ate it all – ha- ha )

Well my mom was so impressed with my description, that she never realized it was pasta with chicken and mushroom sauce
